The story
The factory behind Minibus EV was founded in 2008 in Dezhou, Shandong Province — a region at the intersection of the Beijing–Tianjin economic circle and the Shandong Peninsula blue economic zone. What started as a regional EV manufacturer has grown into a vertically-integrated, 60,000 m² operation shipping 200,000+ units per year to 50+ countries, with 50+ patents on its own IP vehicle designs.
The export-facing operation was spun up under Leqi (Suzhou) IoT Technology Co., Ltd. in 2020 to handle international sales, custom branding, and shared-mobility deployment. Leqi's self-operated fleet now runs across 147+ scenic areas and 25+ cities in China — the same vehicle platform, the same operating playbook.
Minibus EV is the English brand. The production partner is Shandong Xiaobashi. The export-facing contracting party is Leqi. The result: foreign buyers deal with one entity (Leqi / Minibus EV) that ships themed, smart, container-friendly electric sightseeing vehicles worldwide.
