Container freight guide for Minibus EV vehicles. Default term is FOB Qingdao, but we support EXW, CIF, and DDP for buyers who need a different split.

Which trade term fits your operation?

FOB Qingdao is the default. Pick a different term if you want us to arrange ocean freight (CIF), or end-to-end delivery (DDP).

EXW Ex Works

You pick up at our factory in Dezhou, China. Buyer handles all freight, customs, insurance.

FOB Free On Board

Default. We deliver to Qingdao port and load onto your vessel. Buyer handles ocean freight, customs, inland.

CIF Cost, Insurance, Freight

We arrange ocean freight and insurance to your destination port. You handle customs clearance and inland.

DDP Delivered Duty Paid

We deliver to your site, fully cleared. Highest convenience, highest cost. Best for first-time importers.

Container packing & protection

Every Minibus EV vehicle ships in a standard 20GP or 40HQ container with the following protection. Photographs of the sealed container are shared with the buyer at loading.

Frame protection	Steel frame wrapped in protective film and crated to prevent transit damage.
Body shell	ABS + fiberglass shell protected with corner guards and foam.
Battery	Batteries secured upright, terminals protected, ventilation checked per IMDG rules.
Container loading	Vehicles loaded via fork-pockets in the chassis. Inspection at port before sealing the container.

Lead time & transit

A realistic timeline from order to your site, FOB Qingdao:

Production + customization 2–5 weeks After design sign-off and PO. Custom themes add 1–2 weeks.

Pre-shipment inspection 3–5 days QC walkthrough against order spec. Photo/video evidence sent to buyer.

Container loading 1–2 days FOB Qingdao loading. Photos of sealed container sent to buyer.

Ocean transit 15–35 days Depends on destination. US West Coast 18–22 days, EU 28–35 days, ME/Africa 20–30 days.

Customs + inland 5–15 days Buyer responsibility under FOB/CIF. DDP can include this.

Transit estimates are indicative and depend on vessel routing and destination port congestion.

Shipping FAQ

What is the standard container loading quantity per model?

Container packing quantity per model is pending manufacturer confirmation. As a rough rule, a 40HQ container holds 6–10 units of 4-seater EVs depending on packaging. Request the packing list for your target models before finalizing freight.

Which port do you ship from?

FOB Qingdao is the default port (closest to the Dezhou factory). Shanghai and Tianjin are also available for larger orders.

Do you offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)?

Yes, for buyers who want end-to-end delivery to their site. DDP cost is added on top of FOB and depends on destination duties and inland freight.

How is the vehicle protected inside the container?

Frame is wrapped in protective film and crated. Body shell has corner guards and foam. Battery is secured upright with terminals protected, per IMDG rules. Photos are taken at loading and shared with the buyer.

Can I order a sample (1–2 units)?

Yes. LCL (less-than-container-load) is available for sample orders. Cost per unit is higher than full container, but it lets you evaluate the vehicle before committing to a fleet order.

How long does ocean transit take?

Depends on destination: US West Coast 18–22 days, US East Coast 28–35 days, EU 28–35 days, Middle East / Africa 20–30 days, Southeast Asia 7–12 days.
