Maintenance: the 30–50% lower TCO story

The 30–50% lower TCO claim versus US/EU competitors is not marketing copy — it comes from a fundamentally simpler drivetrain. Electric sightseeing vehicles have fewer moving parts than gas equivalents, and the parts that exist are commodity-grade.

No engine, no transmission, no exhaust

The drivetrain is a single motor, controller, and battery. No oil changes, no spark plugs, no exhaust system to fail.

Brake systems

Three independent brake systems are field-serviceable with standard hand tools. Brake pads are the main wear item.

Battery maintenance

Lead-acid batteries need periodic water-level checks and terminal cleaning — both included in the maintenance guide.

Tire wear

Tires last 2–3 years under typical daily use. Standard 16" × 6.5-8 size (Yo-yo) is a commodity SKU.

Controller and electronics

The controller is sealed and field-replaceable as a unit. Electronics are covered under standard warranty.

Spare parts

Common wear parts (brake pads, tires, lighting, controllers) are stocked in our export inventory. Lead time and availability are confirmed per quote.

Frequently asked questions

What is the annual maintenance cost per vehicle?
Annual maintenance cost is a fraction of comparable gas vehicles — typically under 30% of gas-fleet equivalent. Exact figures pending verification per model.
Are spare parts available internationally?
Common wear parts are stocked in our export inventory. Lead time is confirmed per quote.
Do I need a trained technician for routine maintenance?
For routine maintenance (brakes, tires, battery care), no — your existing maintenance staff can handle it with the included maintenance guide.
What is the recommended maintenance schedule?
Daily pre-op checks, weekly battery inspection, monthly brake check, quarterly deep inspection. Full schedule included in the maintenance guide.
